On June 18th, we celebrated the official Groundbreaking Ceremony for our forward-looking project, the Centro Due in Kerzers. With this ceremony, we symbolically ushered in the construction phase for the new Waste-to-Value facility, which will process up to 45,000 tonnes of IBA annually.
Small ceremony before civil works starts
The significance of the Centro Due for the regional circular economy was highlighted by the presence of important guests. We welcomed the Mayor (Gemeindepräsidentin) of Kerzers, as well as other local and cantonal officials including the board of directors of SELFRAG, who attended the event.
Following the official proceedings, the celebration continued in a relaxed setting. We extend our sincere thanks to our neighbour, the company HEPRO The opportunity to conclude the event in their wonderful garden and with their kind hospitality perfectly rounded off the day.
